After Cradle of Filth's Midian totally blew my mind, Dimmu Borgir was only a stone's throw away. Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir are probably two of the most disputed black metal bands, dismissed and scorned by die-hard black metal fans and vastly successful with the general public. Let me tell you, there is something really weird going on with me. I will be wearing full corpse paint in no time if I am not being careful. No, jokes aside. But I've found yet another "black metal" band I am absolutely celebrating. I am talking about Cradle of Filth and especially their fourth studio album Midian (2000), which was by chance the first album of the band that I played.
